It would seem that has been quite a steep fall in the number of people going out to a DIY store to get their lovely new bathroom design as the internet is often cheaper, easier and better. But why on earth is this?
No Annoying Salespeople
The one reason that I will always use the internet for my shopping is simply because I don’t have someone trying to sell me something I do not wish to have. The problem is that when you walk into a DIY store it doesn’t matter on what time of day or what you are buying there is always someone there trying to buy you something else. Stupid things like someone offering to sell you a toilet when you have gone in to buy a lawnmower? It really is pretty funny to see what all of the crazy salesmen actually come up.
The best time was when I was in a computer games store buying my new Xbox 360 (old was going to sister). The funny thing is that gaming is the one hobby that I can call my own and when the salesman was trying to sell me something that I knew for a fact that I didnt need I was pretty annoyed.
Prices
More often than often the prices that can be found on the internet are much cheaper than the rip off ones that the chain DIY stores charge. The great thing about the internet is that if you are looking for something like bathroom you can look all over the net for the best prices without driving around for hours or looking around the shop for hours for the best deal.
Delivery
DIY deliverymen are usually rude and really don’t give a damn if they scratch or even break your brand new taps and this is something that isn’t great. With a smaller internet business they put pride into every single product meaning they actually care about their customers.
